Inouye, Daniel KenInouye, Daniel Ken (in'uwā", inō'wā) [key], 1924–, U.S. politician, b. Honolulu. A Democratic senator from Hawaii since 1963, he was a member of the committee that investigated the Watergate affair (1973–74) and served as chairman of the committee that investigated the Iran-contra affair (1987).
