Creator of television's The X-Files, which draws on America's obsession with the occult and paranormal. The program plays to our paranoia through FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully's quest for the truth. Other networks have tried to copy The X-Files, but none have been nearly as cool or unnerving. He also created Fox's Millennium and wrote and produced The X-Files: Fight for the Future (1998).
