Actor and singer known for his baritone voice. Nelson starred with Jeanette MacDonald in eight major musicals and operettas, including Naughty Marietta (1935) and Sweethearts (1938). He also sang regularly in nightclubs, in operas, and on radio. Died: 3/6/1967
