Nanette Fabray

Birthplace: San Diego, California

She had success as a singer and comedic actress in Broadway musicals, winning a Tony in Love Life (1948), and had occasionally appeared in films, including The Private Lives of Elizabeth and Essex (1939) and The Band Wagon (1969). She co-starred with Sid Caesar on the TV series Caesar's Hour (1954–56), for which she won an Emmy in 1955. She also played Katherine Romano on the popular sitcom One Day at a Time (1979–84)
