Emmy Award-winning television and film actress best remembered for her starring role in television's I Love Lucy (1951–57). A talented comedienne and slapstick genius, Ball was television's most popular actress. Her films include Stage Door (1937) and Mame (1974). She was married to Cuban bandleader Desi Arnaz, with whom she had children Desi Arnaz, Jr. and Lucy Arnaz.
