Fifth in line to the throne, Princess Beatrice Elizabeth Mary Windsor was born on August 8, 1988. Officially known as Her Royal Highness, Princess Beatrice of York, she is the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

Beatrice made the headlines in 2006 when it became known that the 17-year-old princess was dating a 24-year-old American who had pleaded guilty to assault and battery in the 2002 death of a fellow College of the Holy Cross student.
